the ministry | who, what and why
FourThirtyTwo is a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization with a vision to see God's resources used to meet the needs of people who genuinely can't help themselves. I John 3:16-18 says, "We know love by this, that [Jesus Christ] laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth."
The founding verse of this organization says, "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus." Acts 4:32-33a It was through the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the life-giving challenge to genuinely live out the Word of God that FourThirtyTwo Ministries was started.
In I Corinthians 12:12-13, Paul says, "For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, [Nicaraguans or Americans,] whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit." As "the church body", Paul goes on to say that when one part of the body suffers, the whole body suffers. FourThirtyTwo is about meeting the needs that "the body of Christ" has....this is our church body, regardless of where the other "parts/members" live.
